The Parents Association have a Green Fingers Club which works closely with our Greens Schools Committee and Maghera Development Association. The Club are open to all offers of help, suggestions and Ideas to develop the club going forward. If interested in getting involved please contact your class rep or email the parents association (carrigabruisenspa@gmail.com) and you will be added to the Green Fingers Whats App Group.

Update February 2023
- Clean-up of the interior of Polytunnel
- Bedding and Planting areas cleaned and weeded
- Planting cuttings from Raspberry Canes
- Nature Resources left in the polytunnel for pupils
Update April 2022
- Cleaning the exterior of Polytunnel is a work in progress
- Irrigation system serviced and back in working order
- Bird nesting pods are now erected in the school playground
- We have encouraged families to sign up to Woodies Budding Gardeners
- We have arranged Biodiversity training for students in association with Cavan Co Council, Mark from Biodiversity in Schools is scheduled to deliver training to the school – update to follow
Update – December 2021
- Irrigation system inspected
- Gravel racked inside and outside the tunnel
- Pots outside the tunnel weeded and refilled with clay
- Leafy greens planted
- Compost put on beds inside
- Waterhose tided
