It is no surprise that visitors to our school and many passing through the area regularly comment on how well maintained the grounds are and the beauty of nature that they enjoy on arrival at our school. It is hard work but a labour of love and this is thanks to the dedicated work of the many families that do regular clean ups, planting, weeding and tending to our school garden, polytunnel and flowerbeds. All this dedicated work by our wonderful families is done in conjunction with Maghera Development Association. We are indebted to the members of this local group for their ongoing advice, guidance, support and hands on experience that is readily shared with us. A fine example of the community spirit our school is so lucky to be surrounded by.
