Congratulations to both of our senior boys’ teams that took part in the FAI soccer blitz in Bailieboro Celtic today, 22nd April.
Both teams played 4 soccer games each.
Team A won 3 of the 4 games so almost made it into a group final.
While Team B didn’t secure wins they displayed great teamwork and showed such determination that we are equally as proud of them. It was fantastic to see both the excellent behaviour and the positive attitude from all pupils representing our school today.
Thank you to parents/guardians for transporting the pupils to and from Bailieboro for these games. A big thank you for how well they supported the players throughout the day and helped in many ways. A big thank you goes to our dedicated staff members who encouraged, coached and supported our soccer players over the past weeks, and to Mr Monaghan and to Catherine for offering our pupils this opportunity today.
