On Sunday Morning, April 3rd over 120 adults and children took part in our 5K family fun run. It was wonderful to see so many parents and pupils supporting this event with a number of runners from local athletic clubs participating. This was an enjoyable community event and a great start to our wellbeing week.
First across the line was Colm Butler in a time of 20.45 seconds.
Sincere thanks to the Chief Organiser – Stephen Smith, official timekeeper Shaun Boyle and all the marshals for assisting with traffic management; to our Parents Association for their support in organising this, not forgetting all those who provided delicious much needed refreshments after the run.
Funds raised stand at €1100 with donations still coming in!
