On Wednesday 11th May, our boys team participated in the Division 3 blitz on the 3G pitch in Cavan in challenging weather conditions. Having won their first match, the boys came up against tough opponents in the subsequent matches.
The following day it was the turn of our girls team to take part in the Division 5 blitz. They were victorious and won out their section of this Division and are now through to the Division 5 Final.
Both teams should be very proud of their achievements and for representing their school in this competition.
Thank you their GAA coach Amy and to Brian Duffy, Andrew Clarke, Tony Kearney for the training and encouragement given to both teams. A special word of thanks to 6th class teacher Ms Rahill for her commitment, support and assistance in coordinating this GAA activity.
